Black is the opening chapter of Jinx’s trilogy The Book of Colors and the part of the story where the light is already gone.  

Across seven tracks, he drags you through a depression-soaked, death-obsessed headspace: from the self-titled intro “Jinx” and the ticking paranoia of “Bomb,” to the fractured prayers of “Mother Mary” and the end-times sprawl of “Mesopotamia.” The title cut “Black” and the closing run of “Landau” and “End” play like a final transmission, the sound of someone walking toward the edge with their eyes open. This is where Jinx starts the journey that will carry through Sanguine and Gold – raw, haunting, and impossible to shake.
