Killing Field Records has signed a one year one album contract with midwest alternative R&B Artist Captain VIII.
Captain VIII is a West Texas native Now turned Midwest R&B artist. His music is sweeping the alternative R&B /Hiphop underground music scene using influences such as Childish Gambino ,Kid Cudi etc.
Captain VIII is spreading the message about self awareness, Mental health, and human construct.
Coming to the music scene with his first single You’ll Never Know released 2021. He also has dropped he’s follow up EP "Songs Forgotten". His vision for the future in his career is to spread positive vibrations and humbled space for himself and his fans to feel free to be their true selves.
His debut album “Strung out” released in 2022 under his self label Shuttle99 entertainment. Captain VIII was signed to Killing Field Records in August 2023 and brought Shuttle99 on as an imprint of the label.
